Can't you just use auto search on your ds?

And what is the error code-does your ds find the router?

and is it set up correctly-those things are a pain at times-took 2 years to get mine to run with a wii, a ds, laptop AND the wired pc to run at once (ip adresses...all stuff a net noob don't know :( )

Have you tried nintendo's site and typed in that code?

...Unfortunalty I can't do that for you I have work to do :(

It may be a configuration error or even the wep isn't working thru it for some reason-just find out what the code means-maybe nintendo's site can help :)

I read the nintendo site already.
But where can i find the wep key?
With or other router we don't need a wep key. :-\

Check the features of your router and see if it has this one ""IEEE 802.11b/g"

All wifi routers have that, its the wifi standard.

There are lots of IEEE 802.11 but the "b/g" works best for the ds. I surfed the internet finding out why I couldn't connect to some wifi hotspots then I came across that one which helped me decide on which wifi router to buy and now I am still not experiencing these problems with my router.

You have to change your routers settings

WEP key is an encryption code used by routers or HomeHubs, usually Hexadecimal codes. I have this on my BT HomeHub.. As well as never losing my connection with my 7 year old laptop, my DS connects to it automatically, I don't even have to change a setting when changing games.
