Cant connect to site sometimes

    our provider was experiencing a DDoS attack (aimed at another customer) which caused problems on their network.

    distributed denial of service. It's basically when a botnet is used to flood a server with data until it crashes or drops offline.

    LOL, i had problems connecting to this site a few hours ago...

    It's basically when people (and botnets) spam the IP address constantly so others cant access the server(s)

    When I IM'd Loony to see as to why it was down, he just said a DDoS attack, and they were gonna do something...

    DDoS is botnet usually, DoS is a single attacker.
