Can't advance in Phantasy Star Zero. Help.

I'm at the part where you fight the octopus. I killed it, talked to the mayor, and went to get a new quest. All they have is the one about the octopus coming back. I've done that one five times and I'm still not advancing or getting new quests. What do I do?

 

did ever try GOING OUTSIDE?

Well hell. Saved and quit, went outside again and it worked. That was weird. >.>

 

hey I can't even get past the first time octopus. What level are you and what did you do?

 

just keep running until it's sucks you in. don't attack, run.
after it blasts back, run and hit the back of its head
same for 2nd round, but you have to run far enough to the point where you're close to the tentacles
it sucks you in and you should resist till you're close enough to when he stops so that you can get in more hits after running up to it

 

Actually What race are you if your a Newman it will be hard.

 

thats why they invent " ar codes" aka cheats =) no hard work done at all 2 shots the boss is down

actually i only play on some scenes for my son that he is stuck on or need help , so practically i dont play nds games at all =P
