I was just trying to get into romulation when firefox said it could not find the server. it wasn't even trying to load it it just instantly appeared. same thing happened to facebook AND email. I have to type in ipconfig /renew in the cmd once every 5 minutes so it can work again. any reason why? Post Merge: [time]1291204232[/time] other sites worked though
Sometimes a simple reset of the modem/router will do the trick for you in those circumstances. (By reset I mean turning it off/on from the power supply, not holding the reset button).
Try checking with your ISP if they have a service problem. I had that problem recently whereby only specific sites didn't load and the error message always came up immediately instead of a prolonged loading time before error message (as in the case of lag). I called up my ISP and asked them to do a signal check and they came back to me a little later saying that their networks seem to have some kind of problem but managed to resolve it.
I forgot to include I did that 10 times like I said some sites actually load up but some just fail to load.
