cannot copy xx to itunes because it cannot be played on the ipod?

Hey i really need help.
I downloaded an album of offspring today, and im trying to get it on itunes but it will not let me. The only song on the album that copies is called o.c life which is a bonus track.
The files are in mp3 and there tags are intact. Please reply asap.
Also i have reset my ipod and still no luck.

 

How do you mean it will not let you? Does it have an error message or does it just not copy to itunes without saying anything? Because I never encountered this problem on itunes before. I follow the refular steps. File > Add folder to library

 

The only thing I could think of is that the files are protected and the person that ripped them added protection. When you rip an album, it asks you if you want to add a protection so that they can't be played on another computer but this shouldn't explain why they won't add on to iTunes. Just drag and drop them in the iTunes library. I've never encountered such a problem though.

 

Or try manually adding them by dragging them from your library onto your iPod menu on the left hand side.
