I quite like Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene, but other than that I have no idea about the canadian music scene.
Hmm, never heard of those 2. Guess I'll give 'em a try. But seriously, Marianas Trench is THE best band in the world, at least for me and thousands of other people xD
Yay, the band that helped popularized Canadian music back in the day! (No sarcasm). Billy Talent, The Guess Who, Alexisonfire, Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Malajube, illScarlet, Japandroids, Joel Plaskett, New Pornographers, Tokyo Police Club, Protest The Hero, Prozzak (guilty pleasure, didn't know they were Canadian), Plumtree, RUSH, Silverstein, Social Code, Spoons, Stars, The Stills, Sum 41, 3 Inches Of Blood, Tegan and Sara, Tragically Hip (I don't like them but I know a bunch of people who do), You Say Party! We Say Die!, Great Big Sea, and Sam Roberts. Don't forget the ever famous, Neil Young, and Bryan Adams. There's more I'm not mentioning too. Don't forget some bands only struck it big when they went to Canada, like Nazareth, I think Heart is another one. They only got big in Canada for a while, they[Nazareth] even tour in small towns (they come to Peace River and stuff when they go on tour). Cool stuff.
