can you change the intro of pokemon gba games?

    is there some software to change the opening thing where you see a pokemon, it tells you the name of the game and to press start

    as i am thinking of making a pokemon fire red hack but need to change the screen shown.
    also if anyone knows how to edit text with a program so i can make the game alot different.

    There is a way, you have to learn Rom hacking though. You might find stuff here:
