The problem with the chatting application you are trying to use runs in lua which requires a different app which runs the files that you gave me.This application is much more easier http://dl.qj.net/General-Apps/pg/12/fid/16473/catid/151 .For some reason the link doesnt work but im sure yoy can just google it.Your psp needs to custom firmware though.

Sadly yes :-[.Since you have upgraded you can no longer play homebrew.But dont worry you can downgrade using a pandora battery.If you can get a hold of a custom psp you can create one which allows you to downgrade than you can upgrade to custom firmware.You can also take it to places where they offer these services but the place around my house charges 60$
When you downgrade you cant play some games unless they're really old.If you have noticed games come with upgrades. But once you upgrade to custom from your downgraded version you will have all of the features of the newest firmware plus the ability to run homebrew. here is a link to all of the custom firmware links http://dark-alex.org/
