Can that flashcart run any type of GBA emulators? Really want to get back to playing Sapphire/FireRed!

Of course, running on a 3DS

    Yes and no.
While there is a GBA emulator for flashcards, it's really buggy and *probably* will not work.
If you want to play GBA ROMs on your DS, you will need to get a Supercard DSTwo. This card has support for GBA ROMs and uses a powerful GBA emulator.

    Hope this answers your question.

Since the 3DS has no GBA cartridge reader, i am unable to play my old pokemon versions with my bro (Pokemon was a major thing during our childhood, and we recently decided to restart playing some of the games)
Even if it is buggy, can someone link me to a gba emulator for the 3DS flashcart?

Honestly, did you not read my first post?
There is no good emulator for GBA ROMs except for the one that is used by the DSTwo.

Well, to help satisfy your curiousity if you're so curious about trying that homebrew gba emulator; Which is very glitchy and most roms doesn't even work, and if any does, it either can't save, hangs a lot, produce no sound, and emulates very slow.

    Download Site: http://ichfly.github.com/gbaemu4DS/
    Compatibility Page: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Gbaemu4ds_Compatibility_List
    FAQ's: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Gbaemu4DS_FAQ

But please note, if you bump into issues, no one will be able to assist since after all it's still in the alpha or beta stage.
With that in mind, all risks are yours to bear. And it doesn't run on all carts, only certain carts.

If you're hoping to play on your console, as Xenirina said, best to buy Supercard DSTWO, it has the ability to emulate GBA games well
as it has it's own on-board CPU inside the cart. Though the downside is when you run the emulator on it, it sucks your battery a bit faster. Or if that's not an option, then play the GBA rom on an Android phone or Iphone/Ipad, else on the computer.

    Good luck!
