Can somebody tell me how to hack a PS2?

    I don't know if this really falls under "Gaming Lounge>Sony" but I don't know a better place to put it,

    So can somebody tell me how or share a link?

    I have one of those really old fat ones that just sat there ever since I got a PS3. I don't feel like going to GameStop to buy new games, so I just want to take the easier/cheaper way out ;)

    I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the method used to modify a PS2 in this video because I have not tried it. However I think that you may want to give it a try. Here is the video, best of luck,

    buy a memor32 and install ESR and free mcboot on it (you will need a spare blank PS2 memory card to assist in the installation)

    I have a flip-top lid with Swap Magic. Works well, but the freemcboot program is good as well.

    If i wanted to buy a modchip, I wouldn't ask how to hack ... -.-

    Find the Free MCBoot forums, get a compatible game, have a USB drive handy, and have fun.
