Ive been interested in getting into graphocs for a long time now, but i dont know where to start.

If any body could help me learn how to do it, that would be great.

I'd start by getting photoshop. Then read some tutorials from a dedicated graphics forum.

To start off with, search 'sig tutorial' on www.deviantart.com.

Once you get a bit more advanced and feel you know your way around, start searching for some photomanip tutorials.

Sigs are a good place to start (I've always felt), especially considering the variety of techniques available to us at the moment. Also, go the extra mile and invest some bandwidth/money into Photoshop CS2 AT LEAST. Photoshop is far more powerful and versatile than GIMP, and there are far more tutorials written for it.
