Can Roms play multiplayer?

Hi all,

I tried to use multiplayer feature on Mario Party DS rom. The game itself only requires one DS card for multiplayer online, so I thought to give it a try with my friend with my R4 card. But, it didn't work (sadly, we couldn't play together :'(). So, I was wondering if we still use that multiplayer feature in every game with R4? has anyone succesfully tried it before?

 

I myself have done it with a friend on an M3 Simply (which is nearly exactly the same as an R4) and it works.

Is your firmware the latest one available? The problem might be that your R4 needs an update.

 

1) You can play multiplayer with 2 R4's and roms.
2) Download play doesn't work!(R4) (only in rare occasions)
3) Wifi i don't know.

Yeah, they run the same way as DS catridges, but some ROMS have glitches that don't allow you to play online, download play, and other things like that

 

Download play has worked for me like once in the 50 games, believe me i tried.

 

All the download play game i tried has work for me

 

How many have you tried?

PS Mario party doesn't work download on R4

 

Well Wifi Play works on most carts, while download play works on little to none.

 

Someone should make a compatability list like that.
That would solve a lot of questions

Roms can play online.. But emulators can't, well, to the general public that is.

I remember someone doing something to their emulator, enabling it to play online.

Someone crack the code. Fast!

 

What code? This is why i prefer DS....but you can't record on it can you
