Can R4s work on an updated DSi?

    My sister upgraded her DSi, and can no longer use her R4. Is there any way to update the R4? I assume there's got to be.

    if it is an original R4 then no. If it is an R4i then it can be updated using a DS or a non-updated DSi.

    It's an R4i. Sadly, I know nothing about how to go about upgrading such a thing...lol.

    there should be an update for the dsi 1.4.1 firmware on your cards official website if not i cant help you

    i recommend buying a scds2 or an acecard 2i
