    Two CPUs it may do

But the onbord graphics card might not help

Nvidia Geforce or Ati radion cards might be good if you have one

    Check hear http://forums.pcsx2.net/

no it can't. Atoms are low power, 1.6Ghz is far too low and if that wasnt enough the integrated graphics wont run anything more than office/windows.

    Your laptop is seriously weak...

Mine is listed as 2ghz, but being a dueo core laptop...it's rated as 3.2ghz

And it still struggles with ps2 games :(

Nope. My netbook won't even run Age of Empires 3 and it has the same specs. My friend's netbook has 2 gigs of ram and it won't run it either.

like loony said, it's just not powerful enough.

a desktop will, but it has to be Powerful.

My other desktop is 2.25ghz processor, 512mbs or ram and it can get a ps2 emulator going, kind of lags, but better than nothing.

I suspect its a netbook not a laptop. Atom processors arent usually used in laptops.

That's to do with settings and how epsxe is set.

That said....go for tekken 3 or some 2-d fighter, best chance you got..
