    Specifications are:
    Processor:intel core 2 duo E7500 2.93Ghz
    RAM:2gb
    OS:Windows Vista Home premium SP2(32bit)
Graphics Card:Nvidia EN8400GS with latest drivers.
If it lags can anyone suggest how to run it smoothly please help

I would suggest a geforce 8400GS might not be good enough to run it. The CPU is a bit slow too, and you could add more RAM if possible since vista is greedy. Upgrading to windows 7 might help.

Go here then search for Far Cry 3 then run their diagnostic tester to see if your system can run the game:

    You've got time.
Watch_Dogs has been delayed until Spring 2014.

What is the optimal amount of RAM for any gaming pc ?

    8GB these days.
That's the recommended amount for pretty much all modern games (with 4GB being bare-minimum).

    It's his profession.
It's a bit outdated, so he might be able to fix a few bits for you.

as much as it will take in it's optimum configuration, (i.e sticking to the rules required for dual/triple/quad channel as appropriate and within the board and cpu's capability to run at full speed). No less than 8GB

So nothing less than 8 Gb and what is the right sort of OS coz i use vista home professional and frankly it's lame.

    Windows 7 64bit.
    32bit won't work with 8GB of RAM.

it will work, but only the first 3.5ish GB of ram will be available.

7770 isn't a particularly good card for the money, and I would suspect the rest of your computer will need upgrading first. Is it a prebuilt or a custom build?

    Icarus007 Well-Known Member

    It is a prebuilt Desktop
