Can i keep my save from patched to official US version?

so, my question is, if i start playing playing the english patched version of pokemon black, when the official US version comes out, can i use the official US rom but continue playing my save from the english patched version?

i asked this because for me there's no point in playing the patched versions because when the official us comes out, we will have to start all over again! :/

 

haven't heard of any savedata converters...
for example- there are converters for the psp savedata (jap to us) but they are usually buggy once converted so it's best to avoid that...

 

so there's no solution at all right?

guess that i'll have to wait for the leak of the US version.. btw, is there any predictions about the date of the leak?

 

not really considered a leak.
it comes out next month in the US, check romu affiliates or the ds section for the download.
