can i apply patches on my wave 4 games thats on a cd?

    hey i really want to play mw 2 but my benq drive wont work with activate iso and my firmware is 1.61 and im assuming its a bad rip but my cousin got his from my suppler and it works on his xbox because he showed me with that disc i bought from him
    so im wondering how can i apply a patch on the cd to make it work on my xbox or how to make it work by doing something....
