Can ANYONE get cake mania 2

cake mania 2 keeps telling me it cant find a save file and to reinsert card let me know if you have a solution

 

Im having the same problem. I read the administrators link. I still dont know what to do to fix it? Can anyone help?

 

What are you using? Flashcart or emulator?

 

I'm using a flashcart ... I think :-\ ?? A friend set up my DS for me. Looking in the DS the card thingey is an R4 if that helps.
All I usually do is download the games, unzip the file then save to the mini SD card.
If anyone can help I will really appreciate it.

 

Update the firmware by going to http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

 

Okay so i went to the linfox to update my firmware. Do i just download the latest R4 thingey? Cos I did then when i went to unzip there was no files there???? What am I doing wrong...
I am totally clueless with this stuff... all i usually do is download unzip and transfer to my micro SD then into the R4.
I have no idea what this formware stuff is... LOL
If you have the time I would love some simple instructions on what i need to do.
If its just download the file then transfer to my micro SD and R4 im okay .. but why were there no files to unzip????

Yes, you download the latest v1.18 version. Firmware is used to update the system files of your R4, to fix games and bugs and errors and include new features etc. Once you download the file 100% correctly, without no problems, extract the .zip file you should have gotten. Once done there should be an english folder etc. Take everything inside that, and put it on your MicroSD and overwrite the previous firmware files.
