Can anybody help me if you play counter strike 1.6?

    well When I try to join into a game or make a new it'll say this: Disconnect Could not connect to server. What does that mean becuase last I downloaded it It was working perfectly, then I stopeed playing for about 4-7 months? then I re-installed itn now it says that

    Is your copy of the game legal or pirated?

    Well I downloaded it. I searched on youtube; counter strike 1.6 download non steam no torrents and no viruses

    oh I found out why because I think the makers found out a few months ago that people were downloading it so they pirated it. last year I could play it

    Most likely the problem is that is a legit server? Non-steam can only play cracked servers.
