...I'm dying for resident evil 5, but I doubt my laptop can play it...

It can do devil may cry 4, but that is a tad outdated...

So I'm asking-can it be done-and if so, anyplaces that can offer such service-I suck at anything that involves hardware-hence my soft hacked psp.

The Vga on laptop is embedded/onboard so i think you can't upgrade it. So if the RE 5 asking a lot of memory from vga than i think you might have a problem. Why don't you just use a PC?

in 99% of laptops no. In 1% of them yes. What is the make and model of your laptop?

My mum has a pc-but it's outdated-it's hers (so can't touch) and I'm banned from it sadly...

No room in my tiny room ethier :(

...Hp is all I know-it's a big one, with blue ray cababilities (reading only-only can burn cd's-and read dvd)

    It's black...

I have no clue-mum just got it for me so I stop using hers :(

Our house is doggy as it is-and while my old man is making a room for my brother which is gonna be bigger than mine-I refuse to move closer to where my parent's sleep.

Until I move out...I stay with my laptop...

BTW-This thing can play resident evil 5-not max of course but it's enough-I just wish I had the download power to download the bench mark-stupid 1 GB limit until next month!

you do realise its possible to build small form-factor PCs? while they have nothing on a normal PC, they're usually better than laptops.

...I have near zero space-as of now-laptop is on bed-only place to stick it is on top of my stereo...

And I only have enough plugs for the laptop-another for the screen is a bit much-used an adaptor just to get the 5 spaces I have-and the outlet was only intended for 1 plug-let alone 2 slots with an adaptor in it...

Plus-if I was in fast food still getting $600 a week I might have enough to get one and beef it up-but on this pay re5 will be in bargin bin by the time I get the money for it-chances are it may not go into bargin bin :(

    Uhuh?
    Is that possible?
    How about Dell then?

Dell are utter shite. They're overpriced for what you get and not very well built.

I doubt your laptop will be able to run it unless you have an Alienware laptop.

Just build your own desktop or upgrade your current one.

alienware are also pretty crap in terms of build quality.
