    Pretty scary stuff once you think about it. Glad someone caught it and let us know about it. Granted I don't have a PS3, but just to let you know.

    I think this is why we have the Wipe Data pkg. That, and I have the MAC address blocked.
    But, I'm not too happy about the http thing with the credit cards...

    This article bugs the shit out of me because someone didn't bother to hit F7 and proofread before publishing it.
    It screams unprofessional, and I'm going to take everything in this article with a grain of salt.

    whining about sending credit card details in clear text over an SSL connection? So what? that is what every online shopping site on the internet does. They're trying to make a scandal out of nothing.

    Still, I'm not surprised what Sony can get from your history. Everyone with CFW or a dongle knows to get the Wipe Data pkg, and not using that app is just asking to get swept up in a ban.

    That, and idiots connecting to PSN through a backup manager are just as stupid.
