Calibration Loop

Heya all,
I purchased an R4 and a SanDisk micro disk and have been using it for a while.
Lately, my touch screen got a little bit out of sync, and since i like to keep everything nice and neat, I decided to recalibrate my touch screen.

The problem is, when I try, the calibration test just constantly loops and doesn't stop.
I've had my DS for 3 years, so i doubt I'm entitled for a warrenty.
I've tried the calibration test for about 10 minutes before I gave up.
The problem is not drastically bad, but I would really like a solution.

Also, has anyone else experienced the same problems? Any temporary solutions, etc?
