Oh I would like to know if C & C Tiberium Twilight is for offline gamers? I mean is this release for solo play because I remembered downloading the BETA but it's an online one. Is this one playable like C & C 3? And is this an expansion which needs the previous one to play? Much appreciated
To play C & C twilight, you must be connected to the internet thanks to the new DRM, there is a single player mode, but it requires you to be logged in to EA's servers, you don't build bases either on it, but have something called crawlers, that builds all your units, you also have three classes. Offensive, Defense and Support. All which have different units, they also use a level system that decides what kind of units you have access too. The game itself is a standalone game. The reviews say the single player is awful, the end to the story is also awful, although i havnt experienced it myself to judge, but the reviews pretty much keep me from even pirating it.

Ran out of ideas? like hell they did. they just hired mental retards that probably never even played the other dam games to make up the storyline. the acting was terrible. this new crawler crap is terrible- i want my BASES!!! i mean ok they wanted to try something new, but taking that risk at the final game in the tiberium series and FUCKING it up is just plane evil. face it EA is evil. EVIL!!!
And this is why Westwood could have handled the C&C Franchise much more properly... Didn't they also just recycle the engine from RA3? You can tell from the overly shiny water...
Westwood made Red Alert 2,Yuri's Revenge and C&C: Renegade before they got shut down by EA. When I meant the Engine is how EA just reused the RA3 Engine for C&C:4...
While Westwood did delvelop RA2 and Renegade, they did not have creative control like they did with previous titles as EA were providing the financial backing.
Well.. they still had supervision over it though... still makes it their last "projects" in my opinion.
ea is dumb, i got burnout paradise and skate 2 for my ps3. both need to connect online if u want throphies or make videos. and it sucks cuz it keeps disconnecting
Franchise dead, online game dead. Thanks EA. I was given a legit copy of this 'game', I have thrown the pack into the loft incase it gets mentioned 20 years down the line as the shittiest game of the decade, or at least the death of the C&C line. I doubt I have an investment.
