    Dear readers.
    I've got a little problem :-\

My bitchy stepfather has put a password on our computer (Pentium 4).
They're at work right now till 4 PM (my local time),
so I uncoupled the Pentium 4 and I connected the Pentium 2.

Everything's fine, I've got internet without their permission.
But.... This computer is awfully slow. And I hate it.

Is there anyway to bypass the password on my Pentium 4?
I heard that it is possible, but I just do not know how.

(Ow, and they've put a password on it because I was to much on line on RomUlation ::))

    Kind Regards,
    Kiara

If you are using XP and if the built in administrator account has not
been modified, try logging in as Administrator with an empty password
(just press enter when prompted for the Administrator password).

On the logon screen, hold CTRL+ALT and press DEL twice
Then as the user, put Administrator
    Leave the password blank

    Any luck yet?

boot to safemode and run dosprompt
    if there is more than one administrator accounts (like user1, johndoe etc) you can try the below step;

    "net user accountname passwd"
    i.e net user johdoe hahafailed

this changes the password on johdoe machine to hahafailed and your in.

its actually depend on what version of xp you have (home or pro).

let me know if this work otherwise I could teach you how to temper it (brute style XD )

But wouldn't that mean it deletes the old password and her parents may find out she changed the password? Or even worse they may be unable to log in not knowing the password and send the computer to a shop? ::)
