    hello everyone,

I am planning to buy a new laptop.
I want to be able to play games like skyrim and kingdoms of amalur on preey good graphics; no need for ultra high def, but a good definition is ok as well.
I will also use an office suit.

    I definetley need a laptop.

My budget is around 800 euro's

    Anyone has a good idea?

you're probably out of luck. Laptops are crap for games and you won't get a game capable one for 800 euros. The ones that play games are in the 1000-2000 range and they don't play games very well.

your best bet would be choosing parts and building it yourself (or paying a local computer store to build it for you). Prebuilt computers tend to be overpriced and underpowered, and often have problems or aren't very well built.

    well, thank you..
but, i lack the skill to do so, and we dont have any computer stores nearby, so if i had to buy a complete pc, what would you recommend?

There's no skill involved at all, most of the parts can only fit together one way, and the rest is just common sense and being gentle with the parts. There's also loads of tutorials on the net, and plenty of people here with experience who can guide and advise you.

If you really want a prebuilt, HP are about the only decent ones.

the hardest part is actually choosing all the right parts to make sure they fit together, and that's something people on these forums can help you with.
