Buying a game from the European PSN Store in the US?

I wonder if it's doable, since I want to get FF9 so I can play it on my PSP. I can't get custom firmware on this PSP, so that route is out of the question for now. Would it be possible to access the European store and buy the game with a credit card, or am I out of luck? I couldn't think of anywhere else to ask this here, and I figured someone here might know.

 

No, unless you have CFW, then you can't access the EU store.

 

Hmm, what about trying through a PS3 and then just downloading it to my PSP? I should have made that clear in my first post

No, once a psp has one store it's locked to the downloads of that one, it can be changed if using media manager (or whatever is the name) on your pc or ps3, but keep in mind it can only be done 5 times, and will render previous downloads from another store DISABLED.


On a ps3 you can do this, i have a Australian, US and Hong Kong account, but it can't be done on a PSP.

You could try waiting, it may come out...

Or get a ps3, and do what I done (more than one account) and you can enjoy it on your ps3.

 

Should be on US PSN...eventually.

Yet all you can find on it is that it has been confirmed with the nifty release date of "coming soon", and that was stated over a month ago.

 

Final Fantasy IX is available for download on US PSN as of today.
