I thought Burnout 3 was the best Burnout, Burnout Revenge was okay and Burnout Paradise was pretty cool. It took a while to get used to the open environment, but once you know it you'll speed through shortcuts and all that stuff. Need For Speed is your answer. I don't really care about having real cars, but keep customization out, this is an arcade racer, you're not supposed to be able to tune your vehicle a la Underground or Forza. Also Revenge took Traffic checking to a whole stupid level, it made the game incredibly easy. I remember beating the game within a couple of weeks, not really losing a race. There was no sense of accomplishment. Burnout 3 had difficulty, I was stuck on this formula 1 race forever, I finally beat it and beat the game. So worth it. Although I do admit the crash mode in Revenge was loads better. One thing I wish Paradise had was a feature to have open environment races and closed races, and you can create your own races by laying out a track and stuff. That's all I really wanted when I played the game. Because a open world racing game works differently than a closed up one.
i just think that burnout 3 is the best of all time, because the difficulty and unlimited time in road rage
I prefer burnout 2, the challenge was AVOIDING traffic hits, not being an ass hole and ramming people into it! Burnout paradise...ps3 game...DUR it's blue ray-more content to load...if it lacks HDD install of course it'll go forever...and even then it takes a bit. And NO to car modding-it's owned by EA now and they already have NFS... I prefer the made up cars to real life ones, something else to see (I'm f***ing sick of skylines/people driving them/people wanting them!) I say burnout should just improve it's self and go back to avoiding traffic, with ramming cars as a bonus, I noticed on burnout revenge that all you need is a bump to kill other cars, why not make it so it can be a real contest where you hear grinding metal, and it could be until the end of a straight that cars can be pushing each other-not just SWING-CRUNCH! So a semi realistic crash system for competing cars, a real crash system for obstacle cars, and arcade driving for the rest of the way
