Any file type would work, here are the few I know... ccd mdf/mds iso bin/cue If what you got came with multiple files-keep them all in the same place during the burn. Also I suggest using "img burn" as it will re-direct you to the correct file to burn as burning certain one's won't work-it redirects you-and lets you know, sarcastically (you will see XD). Lowest speed and a good cd (sony, tdk, or ritek are the best brands) to burn with.
okay i have additional question to this, didnt want to start new topic.... i heard it is best to burn at 1X or 2X but when i choose that speed ImgBurn says: Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 176 KB/s (1x), Got: 2.117 KB/s (12x) why does that happen? ?????
thanks man! just one more thing: ive burnt a couple of ps1 games recently and ive noticed that they run faster than normal and the ingame music is bit slower when i play them on my modded ps2... why does that happen? is it because i play them on ps2 or is it because i was burning on higher speed? sorry for my english
if anything its because you're playing on PS2, which is more powerful than the PSX was. check the PS2 settings, the disc speed might be set to 'fast'
where do i check this? Post Merge: [time]1264786339[/time] found it! ty Post Merge: [time]1264786640[/time] its not about it... just to let everyone know... its probably because im playing on ps2
