How can i play burnes ps2 games without a mod chip or a swap disk. I don't want to solder the mod chip, but also don't want to buy a swap disk. (since swap disks cost more than the actual game i have)

Detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi.

The cost of swap magic disk is better down long term-when you have 200 games-I'm nearly there.

As for the chip-find someone else to do it-mod shops-or even a mail order service where you send yours can be useful-but these can cost a bit more than a self done job.

WHat country-I can suggest a place in australia...

No other ways-unless you have a good enough pc that can emulate the ps2.

    WHich I doubt.

it is not possible to play burned games without a swapdisc or some kind of modchip. Why would they exist if it was?

You think if people didn't have to, they would still use swap disks or mod chips? People aren't stupid... *cough*.

I bought a flip top setup with a swap disk and have been 100% satisfied with it. It is totaly worth the money. I didn't wanna go modchip either so this was the best way.

    Never seen that before...

The first gen australian ones had an ejectable disc tray-motorised.

    Yours is completly new-so it's a fat but..not the type I know.

You actualy wind up buying a new case is what it is. It does have the motorized tray but to make it able to swap disks out they added this little flip top. This way you can bypass the eject button and the sony disk check.

    Wow-never knew.

I always thought the swap disc method was only for the slim....

It's like the custom gamecube shell-just for this kinda purpose XD

Yeah, I was lucky. A buddy of mine purchased this and tried it out. So it was easy for me to buy knowing it would work.

You could, but it's much easier with the flip top case mod.

It's a small investment to be able to play multiple backup games anytime you wish with very little effort.

Doesn't the swap disc method actually have a chance at wearing out the moter quicker?

Then again-mod chips have the same console wear problem.
