ok-here's the deal. I'm running a built in hp web cam, it works fine with net-msn ask to activate-some web sites ask to use... But I wish to record using the cam offline-and prehaps upload somewhere. Thing is-the application to activate it was under 'windows old" and no matter the clicks it would not run-in compatible despite being installed on my vista laptop from first power up. So..what can I do-I wish to use youtube for these pics-and I don't want to randomly through stuff on it-just rehearshed vids. Any ideas or anyway to get HP cam working offline-or even use it to take still pics like other webcams I used in the past?
I have 2 programs that came with my laptop; Acer Crystal Eye webcam and PowerProducer by Cyblerlink Corporation. Crystal Eye can take pictures with the web-cam & PowerProducer can record/make videos with the web-cam. Here's some links; http://www.cyberlink.com/ http://download.cnet.com/Acer-Crystal-Eye-Webcam/3000-2110_4-202548.html
Hrm-hope power producer works-start with most needed first. That was what I had-but would not start as apparently, despite being on laptop from start up, was not compatible. It was in "window's old". Ethier that or another application that allows straight web cam recording-the one I got here does only editing-not web cam linkage. At least in product description.
