hayy guys recently my computer has frozen up and given me a bsod with the error :
    STOP : 0X000000EA (0x86EA6418,0x8716AAA0,0xF799ACBC,0x00000001)
    nv4_disp

and ive tried many fixes .safe mode and safe mode with networking both boot fine from safe mode i have tried :
Step 4 - Manually Replace The NV4_Disp.dll File
Replacing the nv4_disp.dll file is probably the surest way to get your system running as smoothly as possible again. You can do this very easily by following the guide below:

    1) Download nv4_disp.zip from our server

    2) Unzip the nv4_disp.dll file onto your computer’s hard drive

    3) Browse to c:\Windows\System32

    4) Locate the current nv4_disp.dll on your system

    5) Rename the current nv4_disp.dll to nv4_dispBACKUP.dll

    6) Copy & paste the new nv4_disp.dll into C:\Windows\System32

boots into normal mode only as 4 bit and cannot change because is using default VGA Driver that is to old for windows..

ive tried uninstalling driver from control panel and installing latest from nvidias website

ive tried removing driver in safe mode and booting into normal mode (which works just no graphics driver available so everything is wrong res.etc)

ive tried using DCProSetup_15 to clear all nvidia drivers and reinstall .which brings back the same BSOD and whenever i install the graphics driver i always come back to the BSOD Of nv4_disp.

if you guys could help me to restore my pc i would appreciate it very very much.thnx in advance.Halo-101
