I don't know but when I downloaded Final Fantasy IV Advance (E) in here, there's seems to be some problems on the game like:
-Some graphics glitches(pink and blue rectangles below the screen) especially when obtaining an item or a cutscene.
-Brachioraidos field map sprite is glitched (Its head is mixed up when facing right)
-Hero's Shield can't be equipped by Edward
-Lag when battling Zeromus and Zeromus EG

I've been double checking things lately, maybe it's just the rom I downloaded or VisualBoyAdvance?
Sorry if I posted this on the wrong category. Thanks in advance!

Don't you need biosgba.rom Kiekoes - in the no$gba folder...

might work without it - but nether try-ed gba roms

+ I would say no bad roms at all - just emulator bad graphic glitches

This works fine in VBA 1.7.2

Hmm, maybe I'l try checking things again. And about No$GBA, does it support USB game controller? Also, the version of VBA I'm using is 1.8.0

VBA 1.7.2 is much stabler than 1.8.0

I never messed anything but the controls. In addition to that, when I'm trying to configure the controls my computer automatically programs the controls(i.e. instead of Enter for Start Button it has "Non-US keypad instead). I'll try to play with version 1.7.2 until I get my hands on the PC.
That controller looks like mine except it's neon blue with custom lights and the words CDR-King in it.

My computer recognizes my game controller as "Generic USB gamepad" or something like that. I'll try reseting things just as you noted.

Tap each setting and tap the button you wish to use - if you are using no$gba ? - then use the joysticks/gamepad side of the screen left - make sure it's just on enabled in the first box
