British politician insults EU president ;-)

    Farage should look to himself before critising others. He's the one that brags about having 'trousered' (his word) £2 million from the EU expenses budget. Regardless, personal attacks are not justifiable, and he should not have said it.

    no, I despise him. He's in politics to make as much money as he can and he's selling out my country to achieve that. He has no intention of serving the british people, which is what a politician's job is.

    i always though the politician's job is to make empty promises.

    The politician's job is (ostensibly) to serve the best interests of the country by proposing and passing legislature that improves the socio-economic nature of the county. Many turn their jobs into making empty promises though. The flaws of democracy, I guess.

    Politicians in England often misquote themselves and assume they're in power. They are, in fact, in office.
