    what happened to ranks based off how many posts you make? I kinda liked that

    People would post nonsense just to increase post count and get a higher rank. Spam. (Much like this topic has now become).

    There were a select few users that did it enough to call attention to it, and it was removed all together to eliminate it as a reason for people to spam.
