Bowser's Inside Story - Energy Hold Bug?

    I'm using an R4 with YSMenu and for about 7 hours it worked mostly fine, except for a couple of bugs in Toad Town shops. Now I'm in Bowser's Energy Hold in his gut and I'm absolutely stuck.
    1. Can't turn off light.
    (It moves to the top screen showing a sign, Broque Monsieur's shop block, and 2 pillars)
    2. Can't get out of the Energy Hold.
    (I move to the map right next to the exit and the mini durmite is still there, acting like I just came in)

    Help please?

    I forgot the details but the game runs smoothly on my R4 YSmenu. Maybe you're missing something in the game? Have you tried looking for a guide in GameFAQs? :)

    - Next feature of the light: Press X to turn it off and the 'boo' blocks
    appear. Jump up them.
