Bought an r4i blue box non sdhc from ndsgamers.com and can't get it to work

I load the wood kernel on it, moonshell, make the games and media folder.. I have a dsi xl v1.4.1 and cannot figure out what is wrong, when i put the cart in it shows Alex Rider.. then when you click on it, should show the wood background.. solid white.. won't boot.. any one have any ideas at all.. I have tried this several times and have never had trouble with anything like this..

I am thinking i wish i had found this site before ordering.. i see everyone has different ideas as to what card they like best but right now i just want one that works..

i tried wood 1.2.8 kernel...
moonshell2
used the panasonic formatter..
tried a 2 and 4 gig card..
racking my brains here....

do you have a picture of your card? just to know exactly which one it is. and wood wont work, since it is most likely a clone r4

Thanks.. I ordered the one in the blue box at ndsgamer.com. I dont' know how to tell which it is.. it says r4i revolution for ds and it also says r4idsn.com .. No 1.4 written on the card.. black and gold.. how do i know if its real or not.. and which kernel to use

 

Ordinary Wood r4 won't work , there is a special wood r4 kernel for it .

thanks for the link, but it says the archive is corrupt.. what all files should be in there.. a dat, rpg and should there be an nds? anywhere else to get the right wood kernel?
