Either I am having one HUGE asthma attack, or a tumor is pressing against my lungs, or maybe I bruised a rib. I can't breath unless I am leaning back on a chair, and it feels like my entire bottom ribcage is being stabbed by little needles. It feels like something is punching my lungs towards the front of my chest right now, and I a m having difficulty sitting straight or standing straight. I can't take deep breaths without stopping, or move my upper body without it hurting, it even hurts to move my hands above my head. Any ideas? I really don't think I should go to school...
K thanks. I kinda figured, since it was nearly impossible to get off the chair or my bed without going "Ow. Ow. Ow...." My [arents aren't up yet, I woke up cause I couldn't breath deep enough...
Yeah...if you're not able to breath you should definitely go the the Emergency Room or an Emergency Clinic near by. That sounds serious Mike. Your parents will be really glad if you wake them up for an emergency. Better than waiting to see what happens right?
I took some motrin, I feel better now. Not completely better, it still hurts... http://www.teengrowth.com/index.cfm?action=info_article&ID_article=1229 Mom said it was normal? It's a disease that occurs in adolescents I guess.
I have heard of "growing pains" but i don't know anyone who has had the pains that you are describing, and that site you linked to is stupidly irresponsible to suggest that you shouldn't see a doctor and should just put these pains down as normal. That nonsensical prattling is just so unbelievably stupid, it pretty much merits disregarding all advice in this article. See a doctor; against your mother's wishes if necessary. If the pains do turn out to be nothing to worry about; then great. If there is something wrong it is best to find out sooner rather than later.
Hm... I still have those kind of pains from time to time. Like my chest will feel really bad on the right-side and I just kinda ignore it because I know it'll go away.
