Don't read the spoilers if you get disgusted... Spoiler nose bleeds on hot days On hot days this always happens to me, now before I joined my current job I was fine, there was other people to pick up the slack while I recover and it wasn't so hot because I was indoors... Now, in my current job, I'm outside and in the thick of it, if I go just to recover I lose out on work task-I had to go on early lunch break during one of my outdoor runs, which I had to work twice as hard to catch up again And because I interact with customers it becomes a pain... Spoiler If it's not the smell of blood in my throat it's the fact that I have a tissue visibley in my nose, which is embarresing So is there any surgery...and if your wondering...it's the right one...always.
There are membranes in your nose and blood vesels. There is a possibility that you have weak vessels or membranes that cannot stand up to normal pressure. I don't know exactly *how* to fix this, but I am sure a doctor will know what to do right away. I hope this helps you out . cauterization which basically uses a chemical or laser to burn the vessel and cause it to stop bleeding. Nose bleed treatment - Epistaxis Treatment If the nosebleed continues after a few minutes even when applying pressure or using ice, it may be a good idea to visit the ER, particularly if you are taking blood thinning medicines. A doctor may apply pressure to the bleeding site with anterior nasal packing. To do this, the physician topically vasoconstricts and anesthetizes the nasal mucosa. An antibiotic or a similar ointment is applied to an anterior nasal pack. The tampon is inserted with a firm grasp, using a hemostat or bayonet forceps. The tampon will swell and compress the bleeding site. Layered, 1/2-in. gauze with petrolatum is a rough but effective alternative to the tampon. A second approach is to stop the bleeding with vasoconstrictors such as topical oxymetazoline hydrochloride, cocaine, or epinephrine 1:100,000, and then to cauterize the bleeding site with silver nitrate or electric cautery. one mawr thing...nose bleeds caused by heat  Make sure you're drinking a lot of water, keep a humidifier running when you're at home and (embarrassing as it is) keep a nose spray for when you're out and about. Duck into the restroom and give your nose a little shot of saline - if you don't get dried out you probably won't have as many nosebleeds.
If I remember correctly they can cauterize veins to prevent this from happening. Not sure if it works with nosebleeds, but regardless, this is something you should be asking a doctor - not the internet, well at least not the internet here.
don't listen to people above. they obviously haven't had one before. you don't need a doctor because i'm asian and i know more about this than the average american. your body can react when exposed to hot temperatures so if this happens again, quickly run to the nearest bathroom and wash out some of it but if you keep on washing, it won't make a difference so stick a tissue up your nose and wait around 10 minutes then take it out. you will soon see what i like to call (don't open spoiler if you are easily disgusted) Spoiler a blood clot just keep letting it happen then your body will get used to it and hopefully will not ever happen again trust me, don't waste $5 just going to an ER to get a treatment and exit with a lollipop. this is VERY minor and your nose will heal in about 12 minutes if you follow the above.

Er...sorry sir I'd thought I'd ask, since I'm only registered on gaming forums... Other than 1 other forum which is meant for other, more serious situations which I shan't name because I don't think it's a good idea...it's kida depressing I better see a real doctor then I suppose..I was kinda hoping there was a D.I.Y method like a lighter (yeah-that desperate and cheap) to fix... Thanks anyways-I guess you can lock this if required. Post Merge: [time]1258286755[/time] That is what I always do...I want to NOT have to resort to this... Because the clots tend to "melt" after a bit in certain hot days (yeah...I stop them...they occur again an hour later) and because of the embarresment I do NOT want a tissue in there anymore.... (And I'm half asian-I was expecting amore radical treatment )
My brother had this issue. And so does one of the Engineers I work with. Their blood vessels in the nose have too thin walls and are too close to the surface. Hot weather and dry air causes them to crack and bleed. Now, my brother's issue resolved itself once he went through puberty, now he's 23 and has no issues. The engineer I work with though, he's in his late 30s and still has the problem.
