I just bought a copy, the 3 disc set, the special features work fine, but the movie at the VERY start has sound glitches, like a "BING" type noise or a chime that I know isn't a part of it. It's not the laptop, sound is fine, not the stereo ethier as I just tried, the glitch happens near the start. I'm using power dvd 9, blue ray enabled laptop, this is the 3rd blueray disc I have ever tried, first 2 worked fine, all dvd's work fine as well. Is this the disc or something else?
most likely yes it is the dvd. if you still got the receipt, take it back and exchange. probly an error that happened while burning the disk.
I bought this the other day, and it had noise in the sound. I updated Power DVD 9 and that noise stopped. Power DVD prompted me to update before I even had a chance to look into the problem. In other words, you need to update your DVD player software.
I can't burn it, it's a read only drive, and and it's official. But...here is jy problem-mine is pirated software XD Is it safe to update this-got it in a torrent you see....
Re-read the begining post, it has all the info. Laptop+power dvd9 which I downloaded via torrent+replaced disc and has exact same issues so it's not the disc.
Well, my Power DVD was cracked to be the "Ultra" version. I updated when it asked and it still says it's the Ultra version when I run it, so I assume it's still good. I don't think the update patch even checks for that sort of thing. But the BluRay disk plays without sound glitches now.
Wow...THANK YOU! I torrented mine..now to figure out how to patch it. [me=mds64]is now messing with power dvd to update it[/me] pray I don't get sued...
