Blue Dragon Awakened Shadow

Okay, so I just downloaded this game yesterday. I go to start my game and.. I can't. I get the the start screen, where it says new game, continue, and wifi set up. Select new game and.. nothing. It makes the little sound and glows a bit, showing I did indeed press the new game button, but nothing happens. if fact, I can't select any of them.

Any on else have this problem? Should I try to redownload it or is there some AP on here I don't know about?
