blank screen

hi and hello im having some problems downloading ds games i have the r4 card and the rarzip program but when i down load a game and put it on the sd card then put the sd card in the r4 card find the game the ds click on it all i get is blank screen i did get some sound from mario cart but nothing ealse. what am i doing wrong?

 

1.What kinda of r4-read the label and tell us what it says.

2.Are you using the latest firmware?

3.Have you read this just incase?

my r4 card says R4i revoulution for ds.

right then would it be best if i wiped the sd card i have it all backed up on a spear any way could some one please give me the links for the stuff i need to put on the card i think it may be the film wear thing as mine was already on the card when got it from e bay.
