blacked out letters and screens in final fantasy chronicals ff 4 disc

    when i play ff 4 occasionaly the letters in text are blacked out

    not that bad as its easy to fill in the blanks but all of the menus like the start menu and buying wepons is completly blocked out how to fix

    Need more info are you playing this on a PC emulator like ePSXe or perhaps a PSP with a PSX EBOOT or on an actual Playstation console (PSX,PS2 or older model PS3)

    pc emulator

    and epsxe 170
    here are the plugins im using
    video petes open gl2driver 2.9
    sound
    petes dsound audio driver 1.15{though i dont think this matters}
