Black screen when bottings DSTwo.

When I received my DSTwo, there were games and other files already loaded into the card. The firmware was chinese so I decided to change it.

I downloaded the files off of the official site, copied them into the SD card, booted up my DS and pressed the Fish Tycoon icon. The screen just goes blank. I formatted the SD card and loaded the firmware on there again and it's still the same.

I'm using a DS Lite and a 2 gb sandisk microsd card. The DSTwo is new.

The paper trick doesn't really work either.

EDIT: Problem probably solved. It's a Chinese cart which probably requires the Chinese kernel.

 

are you sure try downloading the multi language menu from there site and then choose english that might work

 

I had to download the chinese kernel instead of the english one.

Naw. I just replaced the english files with the chinese files.
