Ladies (if in fact there is more than one) and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce to you, for those of you who haven't notice I've been posting lately, Shamus486!! Yeah yeah, I'm well aware that this is probably the first post I should've done, but hey, it happens. So now that I've used Romulation to help kill some time and get some badass games from days past...I'm now actually contributing to the forums! So here's me, introducing myself "officially."

What's happenin' everybody? So I've written a couple of reviews, one was absolutely horrible, the other was pretty good. I'm pretty anti-next gen systems, with the exception of the Wii. I'm all about new things, and since PS3 and Xbox 360 seem to just want to build on their already mediocre systems instead of trying something new, I'm still a hardcore Nintendo supporter. Now the Wii might be frowned upon right now, but at least Nintendo has the guts to go in a new direction and take the next step in gaming. I'm talking about the semi-virtual reality. Nintendo isn't afraid to take a step in a new direction where Playstation and XBox both see the future as "online." I'm not hating on the XBox 360, it's a decent system, with some decent games, not a Halo fan by the way. the Playstation however, too much stock in "blu ray" DVDs, if the Dreamcast (best system EVER in my opinion) failed, then the PS3 should probably follow suit. Not saying it's going to, but it should. With games like Metal Gear, I don't think it would. So now that that little rant is over.
Now as for gaming, I love my RPGs!! Skies of Arcadia, greatest game ever created. Thought up by God herself and handed down to the Sega Dreamcast. Huge fan of the Suikoden series, Final Fantasy series, pretty much any random RPGs that aren't very known, I'll give them a throw. If it's an RPG I'm always up for it! I think gaming and gamers today are spoiled by "spectacular" graphics and lack luster game play...so I'm a little "old school" when it comes to my games...but majorly I'm "middle school" where the graphics got decent and the gameplay didn't suffer. Middle School is where gaming is at it's best. Dreamcast, Playstation One, and the N64. Now there is the Holy Trinity of console games, in my opinon. But the SNES had the most RPGs where the vast majority were REALLY good.
I'm an American, so don't hold that against me. I'm very anti-american in our countrys current state of mind. there's so much i would change, if i could...but we won't go into any details on that one.
For the most part...I'm pretty mellow, opinionated, blah blah blah...if you talk to me enough, or read enough of my posts, then you'll get a better feel for who I am and such. Anyway...I definitely look forward to being a part of the Romulation community!! Take it easy everybody!!

    Well shamus486, I dmac154, welcome you to RomUlation! :)
Yes, I really liked your reviews. I disagree with you on the PS3 failure thingie because FFXIII and GOWIII has not come out yet for it, I will base my decision on their sales for those games.

But I agree with you: Wii FTW!
