I've recently took interest in these types of games. I've tried Caesary and Grepolis, and I loved them.
Anyone know a really good one? I'm not going to try Evony due to suspicions and other stuff.

the unique portion of this game is that you are able to convert random monsters that you meet into your own army. However, this requires luck lvl higher than 15.

Simply put, all of these are very similar and require a lot of activity.

If you're up to it, Travian is best likely the most competitive imo, depending on which server you jump on (They have one for almost every domain, including Australia, US, and other countries. .Com is the main server, I believe).

If you're feeling like a "SimCity" person, where you just want to build in peace and attack later, then Lord of Ultima is your game. (P.S. It's incredibly repetitive and gets dull after awhile.)

Lastly, TribalWars. Similar to Travian but with one tribe (rather than 3 in Travian), it's a lot less money-based and SOMEWHAT fun.

Overall each game I would recommend if you can stand it, but I've gotten bored of each over time. Travian is a year long round, TribalWars can last up to 3 years from what I've heard or longer, and then Lord of Ultima has never had an end yet (came out of beta real recently).
