I finally bought a Wifi router today and I don't want my ds to die yet.

What are the best online games for the nds?

Are there any scheduled online competitions between romulation users concerning online games, in any topic of the forum? I never used the wifi on my dsi either :/

FFCC:EOT was alright online, except it lagged like fuck

 

It goes without saying that Pokemon should be on this list, given that you're an avid player.

As with the need of having everyone's stupid Friend Code, all games mentioned are hindered by this limitation.

 

My vote goes towards Mario Cart, but Pokemon is a close second.

Pokesav can be its biggest advantage, but it's also its greatest fall.

If people could pokesav in a non-douchebag way where the results of their creation are not outside the bounds of the game or a product of something equivalent to winning the lotto, then the online experience is enjoyable. However, when idiots have shiny legendaries, pokemon with more than one egg move, or extremely rare stats, the game isn't fun anymore.

If it's one of the events that are supposed to be shiny, then that's different. I'm talking shiny Ho-ohs and Mewtwos.

 

It's actually failry plausible to have shiny legendaries that you're capable of saving in front of and reloading over and over. It can take hundreds of loads to finally get a shiny, if you ever do, but believe me, people try.

Not me though. That's retarded.

 

I have a shiny Venusaur and a shiny Machamp. I got them by the Jap-breeding method
