Augh! Too many choices, too many reasons!

If I read the post right, we get 3 votes?

If we only get 1, then take my first choice.

In first place, The Orange Box. Best deal in gaming history - I challenge the future to give me so much fun for such a tiny tiny price.
Second, Metroid Prime 3. Finally, aiming controls on the Wii come of age.
In third place, I'm tempted to go for Halo 3, but I've only played it a few times. I'm going to go for Hellgate: London. Yes, there are bugs, but my dying graphics card accounts for most of that. It's a fun experience, and has turned me back onto MMOs - something I didn't think would happen.

Orange Box - for being a brilliant bundle that gives buyers 3 totally different styles of game (and 5 amazing games in total) for the price of one
Halo 3 - purely because it's one of the most playable games I've ever experienced, I love having a long session, blasting through it and I love jumping on for 10 minutes of carnage. That's the case online, split screen and solo. Brilliant.
World in Conflict - The game that's drawn me in more than any other in a while! Even more atmospheric than Company of Heroes, and I didn't think any RTS would do that better.

I have finished Portal recently, so I guess The Orange Box would be a part of it. And I was waiting for the new Zelda, although I don't have a NDS.

Third vote, dunno where it should be. Probably UT3, but I can't play it anyway. Something with lousy pc. :)

mario galaxy, bioshock and possibly possibly ratchet and clank 3 (despite how much i dislike sony, it beats pahntom hourglass because ph was too short and that ocean temple level was too repetitive)

why is pro street on the list? it sucks so bad

FPS games pretty much offer nothing new, only a different twist on the old. That's what happens when developers see the success of one game-they make copies and thus a genre is made. If you dislike rpgs because they're similar then you must have a very small collection of games in general.

Seeing this topic has made me realize something-I don't have any of the biggest titles that came out this year

I guess I'm falling behind without a now-gen console, but my input would probably be the orange box set. Best value :p
