the problem is when you think of an era you only think of the hits and although some songs could be good from an era the general releases sucked balls. music is best these days just because producing has become the real art form not the singer/band.
Majority of the bands I listen to are from the 'noughties' (ugh), so it would make sense to vote fot it.
I voted the 70s, when the Beatles and Queen were still kind of alive. Their game in the 60s were still kind of growing, but in the 70s, they were truly established. That's just my say. I wasn't born in the 60s, so I have a very skew opinion on the 80s below eras.
How about Medieval, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and French Impressionism? Music wasn't invented in the 60's, you know.
Beatles wernt in the 70's they quit 2 years before hendrix died(1970) sorry Post Merge: [time]1264675560[/time] There wasnt enogh boxes,i did want to put the 30's(my favourite era) sorry
I went with 60s because of the categories given it's my favourite, I'm with Fredbox on the psychedelic stuff. There are songs I like that are from the 12th century though. Unfortunately there aren't any surviving recordings from then. But yeah, the Beatles were already finished by 1970. Their best stuff was '65-'68 IMO.
Good old, Moderasian laying the Smackdown Anyway, my vote goes for the 80's as I'm a certified New Wave fan.
