best i pod ripper/ is there any way to avoid itunes to erase my pod on windows?

as the title says im seeking a good program that lets me rip my ipod songs, since i ha dto reinstall my OS now itunes is reading my ipod as a different one, so is there any way to avoid this? as im only wanting to add two songs to it

Try this, when you make an itunes folder make sure to backup your files constantly, so a copy of the ipod's content is on the pc, when you need to re-sync it after a format (provided you kept the folder in storage) just use that to reboot your songs.

I seen programs that rip ipod songs but...it's annoying.

 

yes but the problem is that i have 90% of the ipod contents backed up via the windows.old function problem is that im missing a whole album of aterciopelados and yamipod does not works gives me error-1, plus is not easy to backup 10 GB of music (well atm is the smallest library i had)

 

I keep my songs on an external drive, which means the songs are NEVER on the pc of mine unless it's plugged in.

I got about 10gb approx myself, this was just incase the laptop fried or a virus got on it.

 

damn and EHDD are expensive each its a good idea, but its not viable for me

its expensive still, lets do some math, in orde rto event think of buying somethign in $ i need to do a three rule, 1$ in my country 6,50 if the product iw ant costs 30$ i do the math it should be around 180,50-185, then i add 400 more and i get the price is sold at my country
