I'm looking for the best firmware to put on my R4 SDHC (bought it not knowing it was a clone). It used to work on most of my games, but I tried to update to Wood R4 and it wouldn't work, so I tried putting 1.35 on there (supposedly newest for my clone) and I still get a white screen. I also couldn't get WAIO to work. Can anyone help?

using Ysmenu? try getting an r4 Original but it can only use 2gb and 1gb sd cards.. You can buy an acekard 2i it has 99% or was it 100 % anyway it can work with all of the games using Akiao unofficial firmware If you have the extra cash to burn get a Supercard dstwo it can play GBA ans SNES games as well. you can buy them in http://shoptemp.com/ they sell r4 originals for 6 dollars US
to fix games on ysmenu regularly update extinfo infolib and savlib these games need to be patched because of anti piracy
No WAIO isn't because it has thousands of bugs. I recommended getting YSMenu for now, as that's the best stable firmware.
It does have alot of bugs, coolkill3r. Heard all those users complaining functions do not work anymore?

What do you mean by savlib and infolib? and if you have an original r4 i may suggest wood r4 for your wife its some good firmware that plays 99% of games.
